This is a question believers and non-believers should ask. If you are a believer in God, your faith and spiritual teachings have led you to believing that God exists, and your life becomes about pleasing God, following his Word, and sharing your belief with others. Believers are challenged throughout their lives when life happens, and things don’t go exactly as planned.
I am often amazed by people that cling to their faith when they encounter extreme hardship in their lives, like the loss of a child or any loved one, severe illnesses, and other tragic, heartbreaking, and life-changing events. It should make us all pause and consider why their faith helps them through the unthinkable. The power of God and the Holy Spirit is with them through difficult and trying times.
For the non-believer, where do you turn for comfort? For understanding? For Guidance? As a believer, I can’t answer that question. I write this Blog in hope that it reaches someone who is seeking hope, and peace in their life.
I am a believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I will admit I have had a blessed life, from childhood to adulthood. I have everything to be grateful for. But I have had doubts about whether God exists despite no real reason for questioning his existence.
What proof exists that God exists, and more importantly, who was Jesus Christ?
More to come in my next post.
